Zero-In Magazine: Building Insights; Breaking Boundaries
Zero-In showcases the research and development activities in the world of e-Infrastructures and is a forum for news, comment and analysis on this exciting new research paradigm.
The audiences of the publication include national and international policy makers as well as key projects and individuals using or developing e-Infrastructures across the world.
The inaugural issue of Zero-In was launched in January 2009. Each issue of Zero-In has a “thematic” section, as well as one featuring “insights from the global virtual research community”, and another ‘diary’ section for news. The “thematic” section of the second edition will focus on Earth Sciences and Astronomy as an e-Infrastructures application
This second issue will feature articles on the following topics:
Thematic:
• 6 articles (3 from Europe and 3 from overseas countries) focusing on Earth Sciences and Astronomy as an e-Infrastructures application
Insights:
• 1 article focusing on eSociety : we would welcome in particular some articles on social science as an e-Infrastructure application
• 1 article focusing on eHealth
• 1 article focusing on Data/Provenance
• 1 article focusing on Interoperability across e-Infrastructures
• 1 article focusing on e-Infrastructure technology issues
• 1 article focusing on Standards
Diary:
• e-Infrastructure News and Events are welcome for the diary section! Feel free to send them to info@beliefproject.org to be included in the next publication
The Review Panel is now coordinating the selection of the abstracts and, once accepted, authors will be notified and invited to send the full papers. These will be evaluated by the Review Panel which may request any eventual adjustments by the authors.
Submission Requirements:
- Abstracts were to be 100 words.
- Once your abstract is accepted, corresponding final papers should be no more than 500 words in length and submitted to info@beliefproject.org
- Final articles should include further details for readers to go into more depth on the topic, such as web addresses, phone and email details of project interfaces.
- Final Submitted papers should be written in English. They should include 5-10 keywords
- Contributions should not have been previously published.
- Note that our readers prefer accessible analysis, opinions and outlines of projects’ value, rather than technical project descriptions.
Important Dates
Abstract submission deadline: March 9th
Abstract acceptance notification deadline: March 20th
Full papers submission deadline: March 27th
