Announcing call for Papers - IEEE ICT2010 - International Conference on Telecommunications 2010

Special Track on Reconfigurable Computing for Telecommunications, Networking, and Signal Processing. This year, the International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT 2010) will take place at Doha, Qatar on the 4th-7th April 2010. It is dedicating a track to highlight advances in reconfigurable computing technologies.

Prof. Fadi J. Kurdahi, Area Editor for Reconfigurable Computing in IEEE Design and Test of Computers magazine, and Associate Director for the Center for Embedded Computer Systems (CECS) at the University of California, Irvine, is also a distinguished speaker at our conference. The proliferation of programmable logic devices with very high logic densities, embedded arithmetic, memory, and peripheral components, and high-speed data interfaces has resulted in a new, reconfigurable, computing platform that combines the flexibility of software with the performance of hardware. This platform is particularly well suited for emerging communication, networking, and signal processing applications where hardware may need to adapt to changing algorithmic, application, or system performance needs.

PAPER AND TUTORIAL SUBMISSION PROCESS:
Submitted papers should not exceeding 4000 words (up to 8 pages using 10-point type), including figures and references. Full paper submissions must be received by October 1, 2009, and must be in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Papers must be submitted online (http://edas.info/N7505) or via the ICT2010 website (www.ict2010.org). The proceedings will be published in IEEE Xplore.
TUTORIALS: In addition to a high quality technical program, ICT 2010 will host several tutorials of relevance to telecommunications, networking, and networking including reconfigurable computing. Tutorials are half-day events and will take place on Sunday, 4 April 2010. The ICT2010 Technical Committee invites submission of tutorial proposals for half-day presentations on topics of interest of the conference. Prospective instructors are invited to submit their proposals to Prof. Khalid Qaraqe (under the heading of ICT 2010 Tutorials) by Oct 1, 2009.
Please include the following information in your proposals: Tutorial title; Full name, title, affiliation and contact information of the instructor(s); Motivation and Objective Scope; Abstract; Detailed outline of topics covered; Biographical sketch of all instructor(s); History of the tutorial presentation.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Paper submission deadline: October 1, 2009
Notification of acceptance: December 15, 2009
Camera-ready deadline: January 15, 2010
