WePreserve Forum 2008

The WePreserve Forum 2008 will introduce participants to several European Digital Preservation initiatives, providing an insight into cutting-edge research and development activity from a number of EC funded projects including DPE, Planets, CASPAR and SHAMAN. This Forum will also present a selection of practical tools and approaches that are currently being used or developed to assist with the long-term preservation of digital information. This event provides participants with further networking opportunities to meet other researchers, international experts and practitioners across disciplinary and national boundaries.

This event will be of value to practitioners and researchers from the archives, libraries and museums sector, as well as other institutions such as data archives, government departments, legal and commercial sectors with an interest in the topic of digital preservation.
