NOTUR2009 is the eighth edition of the annual meeting on High Performance Computing and Infrastructure for computational science in Norway. The meeting is intended for anyone that works with compute- and data-intensive applications. A list of national and international speakers will present challenging applications and advanced computing technologies that enable new ways for doing science. The meeting is also an opportunity to discuss with colleagues and share experiences, opinions, and viewpoints on how the national infrastructure for computational science can serve the scientific community as well as possible, and how the national and international infrastructures should look in the future.
