Latin American Conference on High Performance Computing

The Latin American Conference on High Performance Computing (CLCAR Spanish abbreviation), is a latinamerican initiative, its first edition took place on August 2007, in Santa Marta Colombia. The CLCAR 2009 will take place in Choroní, Aragua State, Venezuela, on September 21 to 25, 2009. The purpose of CLCAR is to share experiences and to go through the state of the art used in the advanced computing in Latin America, assimilating the knowledge and the practice of Centers and Groups of researching in other regions of the world. CLCAR 2009 agenda is divided in workshops (days 21-22), conferences, oral presentations and discussion of posters (days 23-25).
