The summer school/workshop is the first in a series to be held the coming decade in various venues world wide. The meeting will be an educational series of seminars built around a number of tutorial/overview presentations by experts in the field. Targetted attendess will be graduate students, early stage researchers, and practitioners in signal processing, and embedded signal processing systems related domains. The presentations will be taped and evaluated on site.
The recorded presentations, and complementary learning materials will then be disseminated to the research community, and made available indefinitely through the web site of the IEEE Signal Processing Society.
This first summer school/workshop on Models for Embedded Signal Processing Systems is devoted to model based signal processing systems specification and design. It offers an up-to-date educational series of seminars on models of computation and model based design methods.
