The workshop will be held at LAL (Orsay, France) on 17 December 2008 and it will bring together the EGEE user community with those in the EGI_DS project.
This workshop is intended to bring together people in the grid user community with those planning the future European Grid Infrastructure.
One goal of the workshop is for users to understand how current support functions will be handled in the EGI-era and how the users and scientific communities are expected to interact with the EGI/NGI management.
The second goal is for those involved in EGI_DS to understand the expectations/needs of the user community and to use that information to inform their design decisions.
Attendees should have experience with using the grid and understand what types of support are required for them and their community. The overall attendance will be limited to around 40 people.
