5th BELIEF Symposium and CHPC National Meeting 2009: Advancing research competitiveness through collaboration: towards an integrated South African cyberinfrastructure

The 5th BELIEF Symposium will be held in conjunction with the 2009 CHPC National Meeting from 7 to 9 December at the Sandton International Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.

This event aims to highlight the development of the CHPC within the South African cyberinfrastructure intervention supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). The importance of the cyberinfrastructure will also be illustrated through a selective successful research projects from different local and international reputable institutions. Furthermore, as a member of the BELIEF-II (Bringing Europe’s eLectronic Infrastructure to Expanding Frontiers – Phase II) consortium, the CHPC will make use of this event to cultivate dialogues that are aimed at enhancing our service delivery and strengthening an integrated partnership amongst local and international stakeholders.
